A valid passport and visa (if required) is necessary for entry into Belize.   Visitors are permitted to stay in Belize for a period not to exceed 30 days, after which an extension will be required.   Extensions may be granted upon application to the Immigration Office, in Belize City, Belmopan or the district town offices at a cost of $25.00 US ($50 BZ).   Traveler should exhibit that they have sufficient funds for their visit (USD 50.00 per person per day), as well as a ticket to their onward destination.

No visas are required from the United States, United Kingdom and most Caribbean Countries.  Most other countries require visas.   Check with your travel representative.   Anyone traveling with an infant must provide proper documentation for the child including a valid passport.
